All Yamba SLSC members are reminded that the AGM is on this Sunday, 27th July starting at 2pm at the Clubhouse.

Registrations are now open for the Yamba SLSC annual Charity Golf Day on Sunday 24th August at Yamba Golf and Country Club. The event tees off at 10:30am and is a shotgun start. With great prizes to be won, start getting your team of 4 players together and register at the Yamba Golf and Country Club.

Proficiency for all active members will be held on Sunday 14th September starting at 8:30am.

A Level 1 Official’s Course is being held in Ballina on Saturday 16th August. Please contact Kerry Lee before 1st August to attend this course.
A Training Officers’ Course (minimum age 16 years) is being held at Ballina on Sunday 24th August. Please contact the office immediately to enrol in this course.

The following courses are being run in Yamba. Please contact the office to register:
Advanced Resuscitation Techniques Certificate (minimum age 15 years) one day course on Saturday 30th August.
Surf Rescue Certificate (minimum Age 13 years) 5 week course beginning Sunday 31st August; assessment on 28th September. Minimum number for course is 4, maximum 8. A 200 metre pool swim time of less than 5 minutes must be completed before the course.
Bronze Medallion (minimum age 15 years) 7 week course beginning Sunday 19th October, assessment on 7th December. Minimum number for course is 4, maximum 10. A 400 metre pool swim time of less than 9 minutes must be completed before the course.
Any members wishing to do an Advanced First Aid, a Spinal Management or a Basic Beach Management course please let the office know.

The Yamba SLSC meat raffles are on at the Yamba Golf and Country Club every Saturday evening. This week John Barnier, Sachie Ardrey and Keith Bradley will be selling tickets from 5:30pm with the draw starting at 6.30 p.m.

Members are reminded that the 2014-15 surf club season commenced on July 1st and fees for the new season are now due. Fees are the same as last season and all membership and fee details can be found on the club website.
Those members wishing to use the club gym need to complete new gym forms and pay club and gym memberships where applicable. Members who hire lockers will also need to complete membership renewal forms and pay the locker annual fee which is also due now.
Fees can be paid online at www.lifesavingonline.com.au or at the club office during office hours or at Elders Real Estate. New season membership forms are required for all members except those renewing memberships online.
