This Sunday is the Yamba SLSC and Lions Club Annual Charity Golf Day, at the Yamba Golf and Country Club. This 4 person Ambrose events tees off at 10:30am with a shotgun start. Cost is $25 per person, which includes bbq and drink tickets. There are fantastic prizes to be won. Registrations can be done this week at the Yamba Golf and Country Club or you can register on Sunday morning.

An Advanced Resuscitation Techniques Certificate is being held in Yamba on Sunday the 30th August, enrolments must be done through the office by this Friday, 21st August. A Bronze Medallion course and Surf Rescue Certificate course will commence on Sunday 11th October. Please enrol by 2nd October. Courses are free to all club members.

Proficiency tests will be conducted on Sunday 6th September. This is compulsory for all patrolling members, competitors and water safety personnel. Please report to assessors in the upstairs of the clubhouse at 8.30am for a 9am start.

Board training has commenced on Saturday mornings at 8am for seniors with Coach Joe Dougherty and Sunday mornings at 9am for experienced nippers under Coach Todd Ives.

Yamba SLSC meat raffles are on every Saturday evening at the Yamba Golf and Country Club. Jane andAlan Lawrence, Ken Ryan and Jill Enneverwill be selling tickets from 5.30pm with the draw starting at 6.30pm. With 33 fantastic meat trays to be won, go along and try your luck!

Yamba SLSC bar will be closed the Sunday due to the Golf Day.

Yamba SLSC Office hours have changed to Monday and Tuesday 9- 12 noon and Friday 2pm-5pm.
