Conditions were ideal for the Yamba SLSC 2015 Club Championships last Sunday. Well done to all club members who participated in an entertaining morning of competition. The 2014/15 season champions are Open Male Champion, Martin Dougherty, U/19 Male Champion, Harry Fahey and Open Female Champion Jasmin Ives.

Congratulations to Jim Schafer and Jim Dougherty on their great results from NSW State Masters Titles on Wednesday. Jim Schafer placed third in the 65/69 years Rescue Tube Race and fourth in the 65/69 years Surf Race. Jim Dougherty placed fourth in the 60/64 years Surf Race, fifth in the 60/64 years Iron Man and sixth in the 60/64 years Rescue Tube Race.

A general club meeting is being held this Sunday 22nd March starting at 2pm. All club members are encouraged to come along.

Nippers will be at the Yamba Community Pool this Sunday 9:30-11:30am. This is the final Nippers for this season with the End of Season Presentation and Celebration being held on Saturday 28 March at the Clubhouse starting at 4pm.

Yamba SLSC meat raffles are on every Saturday evening at the Yamba Golf and Country Club. Heather and Brian Badgery, Roger McLean and Scott Greensill will be selling tickets from 5:30pm with the draw staring at 6:30pm. With 33 meat trays up for grabs, come along and try you luck!
