The Junior Branch Championships at Salt last weekend was postponed for safety reasons until Saturday 28 February and Sunday 1 March. Hopefully it will be better conditions this weekend for the Senior Branch Championships being held this Sunday.

20 swimmers tackled the tough surf conditions for the Carl Schaeffer Handicap Swim on Sunday morning. First place went to Adam Cartmell, off 210 seconds, second was Paul Quirk, off 50 seconds and third place was Brent Sahlqvist, off 130 seconds.

Yamba SLSC meat raffles are on every Saturday evening at the Yamba Golf and Country Club. Anne and Brian Jones and Bill Onslow will be selling tickets from 5:30pm with the draw staring at 6:30pm. With 33 meat trays up for grabs, come along and try you luck!

Nippers will be on this Sunday 9:30-11:30am. U10’s parents are on set up and BBQ duty. Any Nipper competing at the rescheduled Branch Championships at Salt needs to let Kerry Lee know by this Sunday.

Sunday 22nd 9-12.30pm Patrol 7- Brent Sahlqvist, Josh Ryan, Joe Dougherty, Andrew Bell, Joe O’Keefe, Zac Robison, Cassie Maria, Angela Eke, Hannah Smith, Josh Robinson, Billy Holloway, Morgan Holloway, Lee Everett, Alex Robinson.
