There was a good roll-up of more than 30 Yamba SLSC active senior members for the first 09/10 season proficiency test for intending patrol members on Sunday.

The next proficiency test will be held on Sunday November 1 from 8.30am.

The Junior Activities Committee (JAC) nippers get underway with a sign -on day at the Yamba Markets on Sunday September 27 from 9am to 2pm where the team at the stand will take new and renewed club memberships, recruit age managers and helpers and sell club merchandise.

There will also a a fun day at Main Beach on Saturday October 3 from 9.30am to 11am with several activities, merchandise sales, another membership opportunity and a BBQ.

A canoe camp for older nipper members will be held at Nymboida from Friday to Sunday October 2 to 4 with the weekend sponsored by Elders Real Estate Yamba and Kitchen to Table Yamba. A limited number of spots are still available with more information available Mel O Mahony 0408 473 456.

Rob Connolly Constructions have almost completed the renovations to the club house while Clarence Valley Council will be repairing the boat ramp and retaining wall this week.

Just a reminder for club members and friends that the club bar will open again on Sunday October 4 with the TV tuned to the NRL grand final.
