The new club season for Yamba SLSC commenced on July 1 and all club and gym memberships for the 2015/16 season are now due. Members are reminded that it is necessary to complete a new membership form each season, either online or on paper, and to pay the relevant fees. The fee schedule for the new season remains the same as last season and is available from the club website www.yambaslsc.com.au.

We encourage all renewing members to complete forms and payments online by going to portal.sls.com.au  to create a login and then look for the Lifesaving Online tab to renew memberships and make payments. This system allows you to do away with paper forms and to pay online by visa or mastercard. For those who are unable to use the online system, a membership form was mailed out with the Annual Report this week with additional forms being available from the club website or the office. New members are encouraged to join up during club office hours where possible in order to be directed to the appropriate membership category and to obtain further information that may be useful.

All gym users must also complete new forms and pay the relevant fees where necessary in order to be covered by insurance in case of accident or injury for the current season.

This weekend Yamba SLSC is hosting a Surf Rescue Craft training weekend. This will involve Surf Life Saving Clubs from Cudgen down to Yamba and will test the skills of IRB drivers and crewpersons, jetski drivers and the jetboat rescue crew.

All members are reminded that the Annual General Meeting is on Sunday 26 July at the Clubhouse, starting at 2pm.

The best way to stay up to date with what is going on in our club is via our new look website. Head to www.yambaslsc.com.au to find information on memberships and training courses.
