Less than two weeks until tee off at the Yamba SLSC and Lions Club Annual Charity Golf Day being held at the Yamba Golf and Country Club on Sunday 23rd August. This 4 person Ambrose events tees off at 10:30am with a shotgun start. Cost is $25 per person, which includes bbq and drink tickets. There are fantastic prizes to be won. Register your team at the Yamba Golf and Country Club.

All active and award members are reminded that the first round of proficiencies will be on Sunday 6th September at 8.30am. With volunteer patrols resuming at 9am on Saturday 19th September, Club Captain James Ryan will have the patrol roster finalised soon, patrol members need to contact James ASAP if they have any requests or queries regarding patrols this season.

An Advanced Resuscitation Techniques Certificate is being held in Yamba on Sunday the 30th August, enrolments must be done through the office by 21st August. Courses are free to all club members.

A Bronze Medallion course and Surf Rescue Certificate course will commence on Sunday 11th October. Please enrol by 2nd October.

Yamba SLSC meat raffles are on every Saturday evening at the Yamba Golf and Country Club. Jan and John Snelling, Alan Schofield and Warwick Mawhinneywill be selling tickets from 5.30pm with the draw starting at 6.30pm. With 33 fantastic meat trays to be won, go along and try your luck!

Yamba SLSC bar is open every Sunday afternoon from 3pm to 6pm. Great views, cold drinks and a friendly atmosphere, why not pop down with some friends for a relaxing afternoon.

Yamba SLSC Office hours have changed to Monday and Tuesday 9- 12 noon and Friday 2pm-5pm.
