1.  The 700 metre swim from Convent Beach to Main Beach.

2.  The 2 kilometre swim from Main Beach. The swim is a large rectangle marked by buoys that starts and ends in front of the surf club.

3.  The 250 metre “Dash for Cash” held from a buoy line in the water back to Main Beach.

An Advanced Resuscitation Techniques Certificate is being held in Yamba on Sunday the 30th August, enrolments must be done through the office by this Friday, 21^st August. A Bronze Medallion course and Surf Rescue Certificate course will commence on Sunday 11^th October. Please enrol by 2^nd October. Courses are free to all club members.

Proficiency tests will be conducted on Sunday 6th September. This is compulsory for all patrolling members, competitors and water safety personnel. Please report to assessors in the upstairs of the clubhouse at 8.30am for a 9am start.

Board training has commenced on Saturday mornings at 8am for seniors with Coach Joe Dougherty and Sunday mornings at 9am for experienced nippers under Coach Todd Ives.
